About the office

A small office, doing the work of attention.

Prospect Birch is a connector office. We make individually researched introductions between people whose work we have read closely on both sides of the match. Each one is composed deliberately, signed by the person who made it, and sent only when we have the kind of conviction that survives a re-read.

The office is small and run by Joe Parker. The same person who reads the recipient's work, drafts the introduction, signs it, and would meet you for fifteen minutes on the booking call. There is no team behind the email and no sequence behind the sender.

The economics are honest. We are paid by the practitioner on the other side of the introduction, only if it leads to a working relationship. Our incentives are aligned with making the right introduction, never the most introductions. When a match doesn't fit, the cost of having written it falls on us.

This page exists for one reason. If you received an email from Birch, you should be able to confirm what it claimed. The brand is real. The reading is real. The signature at the bottom belongs to someone you can speak with.

What this office is not.

  • - A list. We do not maintain one. We follow specific businesses in the course of our own work.
  • - A sequence. There is no automated cadence behind the email you received. One short follow-up, at most.
  • - A blast. Each email is composed for a single recipient and would not make sense if sent to anyone else.
  • - A pitch. The introduction introduces. It does not sell the connector or the practitioner.
