Some answers

Frequently wondered.

The questions we hear most often, written out plainly.

Did this email actually come from a person?
Yes. Each introduction is read, written, signed, and sent by Joe Parker. There is no team behind the message and no automated sequence. If something in the email seems specific to your business, that is because someone read your work and drafted the email about it.
How is this paid for?
There is no fee for receiving an introduction. We are paid by the practitioner on the other side of the match, only if an introduction leads to a working relationship. Our incentives are aligned with the introductions making sense - when a match doesn't fit, the cost of writing it falls on us.
How did you find me?
By paying close attention. Birch follows a small set of industries and reads what people in them publish, ship, and announce. The introduction email itself names the specific thing we noticed and why it suggested the match.
How do you actually vet?
We work with a small number of practitioners we know directly - usually through prior collaboration or a year-plus of close observation. We do not represent anyone whose work we haven't seen up close, and we do not extend our name to a stranger.
What if the timing is wrong?
You don't reply. We send one short follow-up to confirm the email landed cleanly, and that is the end of it. You don't get added to a list.
Will my information be passed to the practitioner without my consent?
No. The introduction email comes to you first. Nothing moves forward without your reply confirming you would like to be introduced.
Can I see the practitioner's site or work before deciding?
Yes. The introduction names the practitioner and points you to their work. We expect you to read it. If you find a reason to pass, that is information for us as much as for them.
What does it cost to be introduced through Birch as a service provider?
That depends on the engagement and is a conversation. If you would like to explore it, the booking link below opens fifteen minutes on the office calendar.
Are you affiliated with a marketing agency or lead-generation firm?
No. The office is independent. The introduction is the product, and the practitioner on the other side pays the office only when the match works.
How do I confirm the email is real?
The email signature names the office and links to this site. The booking link routes to a calendar that lists the same person's name. If anything feels off, the simplest test is to book the call and see.

Still want to confirm? Fifteen minutes is enough.
